Funny Thing..

It’s a funny thing.

We nurses’ never seem to be happy.

If it’s a slow day on the floor, we’ll complain we’re antsy and bored.

If it’s a busy “I-forgot-to-pee’ kinda of day, we’ll complain we need a break.

Karma can be a bi@c#. Raised Eyebrow

I was concerned last week that I missed a lot of hours due to a low census.

Then the past 2 days I was at work for 14 hrs and 15 hrs respectively. I got home last last night, attempted roughly 5 hrs of sleep, and now I’m up early for another shift.

And I started to almost complained. Waiting

Go figure.

Is it time to go home yet? LOL

Have a great day.

Carpe Diem

  1. OK, I'll try not to complain … too much. I'm choosing the “random comment prize winner” below whatever that is. You StrongOne is geting to be tech savvy. I don't know how you get these features.

  2. @ Trauma junkie Oh yes.. the ‘Q’-word is voodoo. Heh heh
@ runningwildly (raising my hand) yep. I am.
@ NurseExec It can feel pretty darn natural sometimes. LOL
@ Karin RN No. Not tech savvy. The best ideas are stolen. 🙂

  5. Haha you are definitely right about this.

It’s funny how no one ever wants to say the “Q” word even though they are bored out of their mind. But then when things start to get busy again, they complain because it is busy.
